Step 1
Schedule your free consultation
Every great Cincinnati landscape begins with a conversation.
We start with an on-site meeting at your property—whether you’re in Indian Hill, Fort Mitchell, or anywhere across the Tri-State area. This is where we listen. We want to understand how you live, how you entertain, what frustrates you about your current yard, and what you’ve always dreamed it could become.
During this consultation, we’ll:
- Walk your property together, noting opportunities and challenges
- Discuss your vision, lifestyle, and how you want to use your outdoor space
- Review any inspiration photos or ideas you’ve gathered
- Provide a preliminary scope and investment range
There’s no pressure and no obligation. Just an honest conversation about what’s possible for your property.

Step 2
Design development begins
Once you’ve approved a design agreement, our team gets to work. We begin with a comprehensive site analysis, measuring your property and documenting existing conditions, drainage patterns, sun exposure, and how your home’s architecture influences the landscape.
Then comes the creative work. Our designers combine the science of landscape with the art of design, considering:
- The architectural style of your home
- The topography of your property and surrounding land
- Cincinnati-area soil conditions and plant hardiness
- Your personal preferences and how you’ll actually use the space
You’ll receive detailed 2D plans and, for larger projects, immersive 3D renderings that let you experience your new outdoor living space before a single stone is laid. This isn’t about showing you something generic—it’s about perfecting your design until it feels exactly right.

Step 3
Transparent pricing and project agreement
Once your design is finalized, we provide a comprehensive proposal with detailed pricing for every element—from the paver patio and retaining walls to the plantings, lighting, and irrigation. You’ll know exactly what your Cincinnati outdoor living project will cost before construction begins.
Our single-source approach means one contract, one price, and one company accountable for everything. You won’t need to coordinate separate contractors for hardscaping, electrical, plumbing, or landscaping. We handle it all.
When you’re ready to proceed, you’ll sign your project agreement and we’ll secure your place on our construction schedule.

Step 4
Permits, preparation, and pre-construction
Before construction begins, our team manages everything that happens behind the scenes:
- Pulling all necessary permits from local municipalities
- Coordinating utility locates (we’ll call 811 so you don’t have to)
- Scheduling material deliveries and equipment staging
- Addressing any grading or drainage issues that need attention first
You’ll also meet your dedicated project manager—your single point of contact from groundbreaking to completion. They’ll walk you through the construction timeline, explain what to expect each week, and provide their direct phone number for any questions.

Step 5
Construction brings your vision to life
This is where dreams become driveways, patios, and backyard retreats.
Construction begins on schedule, with our crews arriving on time, prepared, and professional. Depending on your project scope, you’ll see our work progress through distinct phases:
Site preparation – Clearing, grading, and establishing proper drainage foundations
Hardscape installation – Stone walls, patios, walkways, outdoor kitchens, fire features, and pools installed by our skilled masons and craftsmen
Lighting and irrigation – Systems installed and integrated seamlessly into the landscape design
Planting and finishing – Our landscape crews bring color, texture, and life to your outdoor space with plantings selected specifically for the Greater Cincinnati climate
Throughout construction, your project manager keeps you informed with regular updates. If weather delays occur (and in Ohio, they sometimes do), you’ll be the first to know—along with the adjusted timeline.

Step 6
Final walkthrough and beyond
Your project is complete—but our relationship is just beginning.
When construction wraps, your project manager conducts a detailed walkthrough with you. We’ll review every element of your new outdoor space, demonstrate any lighting or irrigation controls, and ensure you’re completely satisfied with the finished result.
Before we leave, you’ll receive:
- Care instructions for your new plantings and hardscape features
- Warranty information covering our workmanship and materials
- Information about our ongoing maintenance and irrigation service programs
We don’t design and build landscapes only to leave you wondering what to do next. Our irrigation service agreement program, seasonal maintenance options, and responsive support team are here to help you protect your investment for years to come.
