The front of the home presented a steep slope that once felt unusable. Instead of fighting the grade, we designed a series of terraced retaining walls that create functional patio levels while stabilizing the hillside.

These engineered retaining walls serve both structural and aesthetic purposes. They manage elevation changes, prevent erosion, and introduce strong architectural lines that enhance the property’s curb appeal.

Many homeowners with narrow or steep properties assume their options for outdoor living are limited. House on the Hill proves otherwise.

Located in Mount Lookout, this five-month landscape design project reimagined a challenging hillside lot into a beautifully structured, multi-use outdoor living environment.
